On behalf of the Sri Lankan Cultural Society of British Columbia, we extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to our vibrant and inclusive community. Since our establishment in 2007, we have proudly served as a unifying platform for Sri Lankans and friends of Sri Lanka throughout British Columbia, celebrating our shared heritage, values, and traditions.

Our society is founded on the principles of unity in diversity. We bring together individuals and families from all corners of Sri Lanka’s cultural mosaic — Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslim, Burgher, Christian, and others — fostering harmony and mutual respect across ethnic, linguistic, and religious lines. Through cultural events, festivals, and educational programs, we strive to preserve our rich heritage while nurturing a sense of belonging among future generations.
