About Our Society
Founded in 2007, the Sri Lankan Cultural Society of British Columbia serves as a vibrant cultural bridge for Sri Lankan Canadians. Our mission is to celebrate and preserve the rich tapestry of Sri Lankan heritage by showcasing our diverse traditions, music, dance, language, and customs. Through community events, cultural performances, and educational initiatives, we create a welcoming space where Sri Lankans of all backgrounds—whether Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslim, Burgher, or others—can come together, connect with their roots, and share their culture with the broader Canadian community.
